IVF Max.

Would you like to get the most out of your IVF?

We are fortunate to live at a time when IVF is available, but you may also be interested to learn how acupuncture might help and how Dr Perry's IVF Max program uses acupuncture to maximise your chances.

Pregnancy Care

Helping you with some very common issues...

Pregnancy is a blessing, but that does not mean it always feels that way. If you are struggling with morning sickness (or perhaps it's more like all day sickness!) Or have a baby that is going the wrong way (breech baby) we may be able to help.

Birth and Beyond

There are lots of bad birth stories...I have 100's of positive ones!

There are lots of things out of our control...and yes, birth is to some degree one of them, BUT there are things you can do. If you would really like a natural birth or interested in our 'Acupressure in Labour' classes or are heading towards a medical induction and would like to try and beat it...

Women's Health generally

Struggling? Prefer a natural solution?

I have seen many women and girls over the years struggling with period pain, endometriosis, PMS, breast pain, heavy bleeding or no bleeding at all...I cannot promise a solution, but I can promise to take whatever you are struggling with seriously and do my best to help.

Menopause

Burning up? Not sleeping? Cranky? Sweating? Sick of it...?

The symptoms of menopause are common. If you would prefer to try a natural approach, a drug free approach then we should talk. You have more options that you have perhaps been told about. I have seen very good results in the Canberra clinic since 2006.

What else do we treat?

Are you a bloke or have/know one or your condition is not listed here?

While our focus is women's health...we would welcome a conversation about whatever your health concern is. Whether its pain (chronic or acute), sports injury, headache or migraine, men's health or bloke's fertility or plumbing issues...let's talk and see it Dr Perry is able to help.

Alex is a qualified and highly experienced Chinese medicine doctor and dedicated to serving you with all the passion and experience coming from serving the Canberra community to overcome all kinds of health issues, but particularly in helping couples start and grow their families, since 2006.

Alex graduated top of his class in the 5 year double degree in Human Biology and Chinese medicine at RMIT University in Melbourne, before travelling to China to complete his internship in Nanjing. Alex was also part of the first trial of acupuncture in an Australian public hospital setting at the Northern Hospital emergency department in Melbourne.

Centre in 2006 where he has dedicated his practice to women’s health.

A family man with 3 children, Dr Perry is passionate about helping couples realise their
dream of having a baby (or more babies!), without the need for invasive medical
treatment.

With a strong track record of success, Dr Perry is also committed to helping pregnant
women enjoy healthy and happy pregnancies – using Chinese medicine to encourage
full term pregnancy, relieve morning sickness, and aid in a positive birth experience
without the need for medical induction.

“It hurts me when couples can’t have a family when they want to. Or when women are
struggling with pain, and feel the only solution is medical or pharmaceutical intervention. I prefer a more holistic approach, encouraging lifestyle changes and harnessing the power of acupuncture as a tool for stimulating energy and change in the body, along with specific formulations of Chinese herbs to promote healing and wellness.”
